Well-known psychologist and author of parenting books – Steve Biddulph is touring Brisbane this year. He is coming to Brisbane in May and will speak at a number of locations including at St Kevin's Primary School at Geebung.
The focus of his talk is the “Secrets of Happy Children”. This is a parent only event, designed to provide tips for parenting both boys and girls. It is likely to be a large event with people from all over Brisbane coming to our school to hear Steve speak. Next week at kindy we are celebrating Harmony Day which is officially on Wednesday 21st March.
Harmony Day celebrates Australia’s cultural diversity. It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. Each year the kindergarten celebrates Harmony Day by inviting musician, Lucas Proudfoot to the kindy. Lucas will be here on Tuesday 20th and Thursday 23rd for a special music and cultural learning session for each group. Lucas has worked with our kindy for a number of years now and is a much loved visitor. Welcome to Aspley East Kindy for 2018!
