Our Sessions
Children can participate in a Kindergarten program in the year before they start Prep. Children will be at least four years old by 30 June in the year that they attend Kindy.
Aspley East Kindy is a sessional kindergarten, which means children attend on set days during school terms. We offer a variety of options to suit your family’s needs, with both 2-day and 3-day group schedules available in 2025.
Each program has capacity for 22 children, and is set in the same classroom, with the same teachers, every week. All groups follow the school term calendar, helping to gently introduce your child to a school-like rhythm and routine.

Enrolment & Waiting List Procedure
If you're interested in your child attending Aspley East Kindy, the first step is to join our waitlist! Children can be placed on our waiting list before they are old enough to attend.
Enrolments are finalised in the year before your child is due to attend Kindergarten, so it is important to have your child's name in our system in advance, to avoid disappointment.

2025 Fees
Aspley East Kindergarten is an approved Kindergarten provider, and is part of the Queensland Government's Free Kindy program - which is applicable for 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.

For Aspley East Kindy families:
- Kindy is free for the 2-day groups
- 3-day groups incur fees of $300.00 per term (Approximate daily rates of $10.00 per day. This is because the total weekly hours for these 3-day groups exceed the 15 hours covered under the Free Kindy program.)
- No Childcare Subsidy applies
Other Fees:
- $99.00 Enrolment Fee is payable at the time of enrolment. Payable once only
- $11 Membership Fee per family per year
