The annual Out of the Box festival for children eight years and under is on again in Brisbane from 21-28 June. C&K families can get a 10% discount for a range of shows and workshops at the festival. There are also lots of free activities on offer at the festival and you can see all the details at the website here  Now that we have a lovely lawn for the children to play on at kindy, we need some help with mowing the grass!
There is a roster on display at the sign in desk, please help out if you can. With such a small space, the mowing takes only 20minutes and whipper snipping, another 20minutes. We do not have a mower or whipper snipper so you would need to bring your own. Having parents help out with this job means that the kindy does not have to pay a gardener and so can keep the fees as low as possible and spend all fundraising money on toys and resources for the children, rather than paying for a handyman.
