Welcome to Aspley East Kindy. We are a community based, non-profit organisation offering a 2 unit community centre with 88 enrolments.

Our Centre was established in 1966 to provide quality, affordable early childhood education and learning to the community in Aspley and surrounding areas, with our motto “where children come first”.

​At Aspley East Kindy we pride ourselves on fostering an inclusive community and learning environments in which the diversity and individuality of families and children is recognised and celebrated. 

We offer a safe, secure and fun environment for your child to play, grow and learn.  At Aspley East Kindy we believe a positive and open relationship with families is vital in providing a positive experience for your child; therefore we will work together with families to provide an environment in which your child will feel comfortable and safe.  We provide a place of learning and care where your child has access to active, play-based learning and developmentally appropriate resources. We have a strong emphasis on children engaging with the environment and being able to exercise choices which match their interests and capabilities. ​

Child-led learning:  No two days are the same at Aspley East Kindy. Our teaching team tailor each day’s learning taking into account the interests of the children in the group. The spacious environment at our kindy is thoughtfully planned and well resourced. There is a focus on music, drama, literature and visual arts and time spent discovering the natural environment outdoors. ​

Community Spirit:  Community spirit is important to us at Aspley East Kindy. We foster our strong ties to the local community by encouraging parent input and involvement in the daily operations of the kindergarten and programming decisions. We often hold and partake in community events and love connecting with local businesses and groups around us.
